Target Group:     300  Jail Inmates

Expected Outputs:

·          Awareness raised about HIV/AIDS and STIs among 300 target Population

·          Practiced safe sexual behaviour by 300 target group

·          Enhanced Capacity of 20 peer educators/Out reach workers to manage HIV/AIDS interventions.

·          Provided basic health facility  and STI management to 300 target group

·          Referred around 200-traget population to DHQ hospital for further investigation and treatment of STIs and HIV/AIDS.

Title of the Project:   HIV/AIDS Prevention Project for Out School Youth of Chila Support for Youth and Children  (Male & Female)

Location:    Chilas City

Purpose:

·          To raise awareness about HIV/AIDS and STIs among 300 Out school Youth of Chilas City

·          To sensitize and mobilize on prevention of HIV/AIDS among 400 out school youth.

·          To arrange referral service for 300 target youth for HIV and STIs testing and STIs treatment

·          To decrease rate of unsafe sex among 300 out school youth

·          To provide condoms to 300 youth for safe sexual practices to reduce chances of transmission of HIV and STIs among youth.

·          To bring behavioral change among 300 target youth to avoid unscreened blood transfusion used syringes and blades.

·          To provide medicines for Primary Health Care and STIs treatment for 300 target youth

·          To motivate and sensitize the religious Leaders for HIV/AIDS preventions among youth

Target Group:      300 Out of school Youth 15-25 Years

Expected Outputs:

·          RSA Report on existing situation regarding the out youth of Chilas

·          Trained and Built Capacity  of 300 out school youth on HIV/AIDS prevention

·          Provided Primary Health Care services to 300 Youth.

·          Set up Referral services for HIV/AIDS and STIs testing and treatment for 300 youth.

·          Safe Sexual practices of target youth

·          Developed Enable environment for working on HIV/AIDS in Chilas

·          Avoided by 300 youth use of unscreened blood, sharing of contaminated syringes and blades of 300 youth.

Title of the Project:   HIV/AIDS Prevention for Out School Youth of Gilgit City

Location:         Main Areas of Gilgit City including Gilgit Town, Jutial and Konodas

Purpose:

·          To sensitize, Mobilize and bring attitudinal change towards prevention of HIV/AIDS among 400 out school Youth.

·          To reduce unsafe sexual Practices and sensitize on safe sexual of 400 out school youth.

·          To sensitize 400 target youth to avoid unscreened blood transfusion, contaminated syringes and sharing of shaving kits.

·          To develop 30 peer educators from 400 target youth.

·          To sensitize 400 youth and Provide counseling services for voluntary testing of HIV/AIDS and STIs

·          To provide Referral service for 400 target youth for HIV and STIs testing and  STIs treatment

·          To provide medicines to 400 youth for STIs Treatment and basic health

·          To provide condoms to 400 youth for reducing chances of transmission of HIV among them.

·          To reduce stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS and STIs among 400 target youth of Gilgit city.

Target Group:     300   Labor, Drivers, Cleaners ,Hotel Workers (14-25 Years)

Expected Outputs:

·          Availability of Fact AND Figures and Data of out of school Youth of Gilgit City (RSA Report)

·          Provided primary Health Care services to 400 youth.

·          Developed 30 peer Educators from 400 Target Youth.

·          Built Capacity of 400 out school youth on HIV/AIDS and STIs testing and treatment  for 400 youth.

·          Safe Sexual practices of 200 youth out of 400 youth.

·          Reduced stigma and Discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS and STIs among the target population
