NAACC Areas of Expertise

    
  Since its inception NAACC has been involved in conducting trainings, workshops and seminars for different stakeholders. And NAACC has a group of master trainers throughout Northern Areas, who can facilitate and conduct the regional workshops and trainings at local levels that include; behavior change communication/peer education, basics of HIV/AIDS, organizational management, project cycle management, interpersonal communication, gender & HIV/AIDS and managing projects for HIV/AIDS.
• A number of research studies and surveys have been conducted under the NAACC umbrella; therefore NAACC can take the activities further.

• NAACC has developed a trainer’s pool of 30 facilitators in contemporary developmental multi disciplines regarding the HIV and AIDS issues.

• NAACC has also trained more than 200 representatives of its members NGOs throughout Northern Areas. Their expertise can be utilized to implement the service delivery interventions at local levels in partnership with member NGOs.

• NAACC has the expertise of implementation of Small Grants Programme and can further replicate the idea at grass roots levels.

• NAACC has the Advocacy and PPP experience which can further be strengthened through continuation of the relevant activities in these sectors

• NAACC has developed around 1,000 sensitized dynamic group of people from Northern Areas comprising both male and female to work for the mass populations on awareness and service delivery in future
