NAACC Success Stories

Since its inception NAACC have been successful to make following achievements:
NAACC is an effective and recognised network of the Northern Areas NGOs working for prevention of HIV and AIDS.

NAACC’s interventions have made significant impact to reduce misperceptions, myths, stigma and discrimination attached with the field of HIV/AIDS.

NAACC’s initiatives in the Public Private Partnership have made the environment conducive to take the activities and initiatives ahead on sustainable basis. NAACC has initiated partnerships with Northern Areas Police Department and Northern Areas AIDS Control Programme.
NAACC is a member of Standing Committee of NGOs formed under the supervision of Chief Secretary Northern Areas. This committee has been recently formed by Northern Areas

Administration with the aims to enhance coordination and effectiveness of the Northern Areas NGOs and line departments.
Large media coverage has been given to the NAACC interventions in Northern Areas, which has helped dissemination of information, advocacy and reducing stigma and discrimination attached with HIV and AIDS in the region.
